When they dealt for him, it was to make him their starter. Stevie Y also realilzed he was getting a goalie who would need to learn on the job per say. Growing pains will come but I have no doubt in my mind he is their starter going forward. Dont forget, going into this season management expected a 1 and 1A starting situation with him and Garon. No one should be surprised to see Garon get his starts along the way but make no mistake who the man will be going forward long term for this team.

I agree - I think there will be a long leash running well into next season. First time getting the majority of starts, new division/new opposition, new team, new d-men. Stevie Y is too smart not to have figured this into the equation in my mind. Suspect there will be some good time sharing for the rest of this year as they try to bring him along.
