Question SR Trade, need advice plz

I've been hit with the injury bug in my Strained Resources league. For those who don' t know it, it's an 18 team league with HEAVY emphasis on goalies. We are required to make 4 starts/appearances. The last two weeks I've missed my starts, and I'm trying to fortify myself. My current goalie stable is Brodeur, Lehtonen and Greiss. I just completed a trade for Joey MacDonald (gave up Mikkel Boedker).

I have a deal on the table I need input on. The guy has Bachman, who I am a bit nervous about getting, to give me the DAL tandem. Not sure how solid Bachman's role is. I'm worried Nilstrop could get the call up at any time. He's wanting one of my top skaters plus Griess for him (J. Thornton, D. Sedin, W. Simmonds), so I've been shying away from those. The one I need help on is this: he sends me S. Weiss/Neuvirth/Emery for Yandle/Lehtonen. Neuvirth is the same as Greiss, he's only made two starts in the last 30 days. Emery has been splitting with Crawford it seems. I'm worried about Lehtonen's durability, since in the past he's been a band-aid boy.

So, should I just sit tight with what I currently have (Brodeur, Lehtonen, Greiss and MacDonald)? Make a move for Bachman? Accept the trade for Neuvirth & Emery?

Thanks everyone.

Just out of curiosity is this a keeper league? Either way, I don't think you have the goalies to win this year. Kipper is close to returning which is going to make McDonald a perma bench warmer, wasn't a fan of that move. Emery and Neuvirth have limited value at the moment, Emery has some utility in one year leagues but he'll never be a starter due to hip issues. Neuvy is currently playing second fiddle to Holtby and I think it will always be the case. He needs to get moved big time to have any value. Bachman I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, it's nice to have the handcuff but Bachman will never be more than a backup imo. If this is a keeper league, I'd focus on making trades for next year. If this is a one year, than you need starts now, try making a trade for Markstrom as Theodore just got injured and could be on the shelf for the rest of the season. You need someone with starter upside now and cant afford to kill your offense in the process.

This is a one year league, sorry. Meant to mention that. I already declined the trade. I felt it was too much to give up with not a lot in return. I might try to flip MacDonald to the guy who has Kipper, because he has Hedburg, which will give me the NJ tandem and him the CGY tandem. Then just ride what I have. I have no aspirations of winning, I just want to stay out of the bottom two slots which is an automatic demotion to the lower tier.

Thanks!

If you can get Hedberg then that's a big plus. Kipper hogs the net when healthy, moreso than Brodeur. +Hedberg should have better stats in NJ. Good luck.
