Who do you prefer in a dynasty format?
20 team keeper with positional requirements. Both are LW so position is a wash. Cats are G, A, P, +/-, PPP, SOG, FW, and Hits. I'm leaning more towards Boedker because of his opportunity on the PP in the desert and also plays a little more rugged game than Hagelin. Thoughts?

Both are very talented and have different skillsets. I see Hagelin as a good shooter with blazing speed, while Boedker has better puck handling and vision.
In terms of teams and their respective depth chart; Hagelin plays with Nash on line 1 or 2 in NY and Boedker plays with no one on line 1 or 2 in PHO. The difference here is that Boedker is heavily relied on for points... I own both players and I have been following them for some time. I like them both but if I had to pick 1 over the other, I would say Boedker has a slight edge here, in terms of his current performance and his overall potential.

Hagelin for me. He's 4th in points and tied for 1st in goals on a team that includes Richards, Nash, Gaborik, Callahan and even young Stepan. If he's managing to make his name shine through this elite clouds of the aformentioned, then what better opportunity can he have when he eventually locks himself up on the top lines to play WITH these superstars.
Boedker has the chance to be the best player, scratch...is the best offensive FORWARD on a team of no names (castaways Vrbata, Hanzal, Vermette)... a team where he'll be competing with this top 2 defencement (OEL and Yandel) for point production). Kinda sounds like every forward in Nashville when Weber and Suter where running the show. Don't confuse Opportunity with NEED... Pheonix doesn't have anyone better then Boedker up front... so they need him to play this well cause he's not getting much help on that roster. And when you're the best offensive forward on a team who's top Defensive pairing is better than you...That generally doesn't add up to an elite status for you. Ceiling and opportunity is much greater with Hagelin. IMO

Tough to go against Hagelin w/ the talent he is surrounded with but that might be a disadvantage as well if/when he falters..he'll get lost in the depth chart. Therefore, might lose his spot on the top 6 or even 2nd line pp time.
Im going to have to go w/ Boedker. He's been under the radar. He is starting to scratch the surface now. His SOGs will go up, he can hit and play a physical game, and he is the offensive threat in PHX = pp time, top 6 minutes. Go big or go home for me, Boedker.

Been watching a lot of Ranger games this year... Hagelin is playing incredible this year... at 24, still room to grow. I'd take him.
