I agree with this. Kuznetsov is the better player but I don't think we'll see him soon, if at all in the NHL.

And that comment makes no sense what so ever. Thanks for coming out.

I'm not sold on Strome either. I think he could turn into a good player but from what I've seen from him (Some CHL games and World Jr tournaments) I havent been impressed.

He does have great hands and seems to have a good shot but I haven't seen him dominate while playing in World tournaments. I keep a close eye on the WJC and how certain players do against good competition and it just seemed Strome disappeared in big games.

Not saying he is a bust, this is just my opinion

Come on now... You haven't seen this?

A few guys on here with lots of posts say "I hate Strome"" "Strome will be a bust"

I would give you a few names but it shouldn't be all that hard to see who does it, it happens often enough.

If this guy were to come back with some strong evidence pointing out Strome's weaknesses and a good explanation why Strome will not be a productive player that would be one thing, but I have yet to see strong evidence from anyone that has stated that Strome will be a bust, as a lot of people have done.

After some further thought on this - the subject would probably make a decent article for one of the many talented writers we have on this site.

Thanks for having me over Axeman33.

I'll take Kuznetsov even with the risk.

That being said, I am not as confident as some that he will come over to the NHL. I am confident that the KHL will throw insane amounts of money at him to keep him there when his contract expires. He just watched a lot of Russians struggle to go back to the NHL after the lockout. I am sure Ovechkin will get in his ear to bring him over but will he turn down the offers coming at him from the KHL for an entry level salary from the NHL. That will be the big question mark surrounding Kuznetsov. Not his skills, but will he come.

And there in lies the risk surrounding Kuznetsov. No fear in Strome and his focus on where he wants to play. He doesnt have the potential that Kuznetsov has (not saying Strome isnt skilled) but he comes with that doubt and risk.
This sums up my thoughts on the matter. I wouldn't even consider moving Strome for Kuz.....not worth the risk at all!!
