Sigh.
Kesler's broken foot was the last thing my team needed. Not only have I missed Halak and Green for extended periods already, I also have monsieur Malkin out with a concussion, Dubinsky in the IR and Duchene out with a groin injury. I really hate giving up on a season, but I think that's the best thing to do here for the future of my team. I could receive quite nice package of picks for some of my non-keeper depth players and look to come back stronger next season, or I could try to package someone like Clarkson with one of my current keepers and look to improve there. Maybe make a play for a long term injured player (Karlsson comes to mind). The league in question is a 12 team 10 keeper league with very deep farm systems (29 players in farms in total). Categories are: G, A, +/-, PIM, SOG, SHP, PPP, GWG, W, SV%, GAA, SO Team is (yahoo positions), propable keepers bolded: C: Kesler, Duchene, Oshie, Ott LW: Tlusty, Gagne, Pacioretty RW: Wheeler, Simmonds, Clarkson D: Green, Martin, Erhoff, Girardi, Zidlicky G: Halak, Varlamov IR: Malkin, Dubinsky I wont paste my entire farm as that would make for a tiresomely long message but some notables are: Bjugstad, B. Smith, Lack, Faulk, Schwartz, Ellis, Atkinson, Etem, Murphy, Rielly, Poulin, Teravainen. So like I said I'm leaning on giving up on the season and look to improve my keepers for next season or stack up some prospect and waiver picks, but I would love to have some perspective from other writers here aswell. Also if your idea would be the same as mine, which keepers would you look to improve on and who would you target? |
