Hard to say in a shortened year. Goligoski should be a lot better and will get a tonne of minutes on the PP due to what the Stars invested in his success..So you have to figure he turns it around sometime. He has a tendency to get hot and stay hot for long periods. Maybe one is on the way.. Franson is hot right now. Not sure how long this lasts and the D situation in Toronto has me a but puzzled, outside Phaneuf. It seemingly changes in short 3-5 game spurts.. Carle leads his team in TOI and is all but the leader on the D in PP TOI, so you also have to figure, given his contract and the offense he rolls with, that he'll remain productive.. Barrie has a lot to like. Right handed shot.. hot ish right now.. but by the end of the year, given his team offense and the depleted Colorado D, not sure if he'll have accumulated more by year's end than these other guys. If I had to guess, I'd bet the final scoring results for this year in pts and PP pts to be:

Carle
Goligoski
Franson/Barrie in a wash

So really, it's over Franson, if anyone, than Goligoski.

That said, you only keep 5 so you might not care so much about dropping Goligoski. So pick up Barrie over him and ride some hot hands. Shortened year, limited opportunity, right?
