This is true, Axe. If I'm not mistaken, in the past, he's reached out to another in the same way. Karlsson can feel however he wants. None of us knows, including him, how he would have responded to a phone call from Cooke because a call wasn't placed.

If any of us was Cooke, I would find it hard to believe that one would assume that any form of contact, call or not, would embraced by just about anyone in Ottawa when you consider what has been said about him.

Accident or no I'm so sick of Cooke always being at the center of things like this. I don't blame Karlsson at all for his reaction. It's hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt when he's earned a reputation for being one of the dirtiest players in the league.
