but in this league
6 Team Yahoo HTH League G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, GWG W, GAA, SV, SV% 3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 3 F, 6 D, 2 G, 5 Bench Keep 10 - 6 F, 3 D, 1 G trades are much easier to pull off in season than post season as there is so much talent that no one tends to want to add extra headaches to their already tough keeper decisions after the season has ended but in the middle of the season while chasing wins teams tend to figure they will worry about resolving keepers later if they think the trade helps them now and if it helps them both even better so after all of that preamble here are my forwards Stamkos, Steven C Crosby, Sidney C Giroux, Claude C,RW Tavares, John C Seguin, Tyler C,RW Pavelski, Joe C,RW Iginla, Jarome RW Hall, Taylor LW Benn, Jamie C,LW Moulson, Matt LW Vanek, Thomas LW Duchene, Matt C,LW Simmonds, Wayne RW Yakupov, Nail RW Tarasenko, Vladimir RW Conacher, Cory C,LW now my keepers last season were Stamkos, Crosby, Tavares, Giroux, Seguin, and Hall very center heavy and if they ever fix Giroux even more center heavy now yes i obviously can roster them given the starting lineup breakdown and just grab wings in the draft but of course the top wings are kept so it is tough to end up with top end wings unless you get a freak occurrence like Vanek this season obviously Stamkos, Crosby, Tavares, and Hall go nowhere so my question is should i try to get guys like Ovechkin, Kanes, Perry, Eberle to round out my forward keepers if so which ones |

Personally I think your "go nowhere" keepers should be Stamkos, Crosby, Tavares, Giroux. Then you have Seguin, Benn, Hall contending for the last 2 spots. I would rather keep Benn and Seguin and try to work out trades by offering up Hall + Yakupov for example...

I would certainly suggest balancing your keepers. If you can package a center or two for equal or greater players on the wing or in net then you should. Are goalies not as valuable in your league? I noticed you didn't list or state anything about them, because my first suggestion would be to target either AO/Perry or a goalie like Lundqvist/Quick/Price.

and i have karlsson, AP, and subban as my 3 defensemen keepers AO/Perry yeah those were guys i had listed as potential targets i was thinking of pursuing besides giroux i also have vanek who i can sell plenty high on as well so i have the guns to get it done i just wanted to make sure i wasnt crazy with trying to balance things out as opposed to keeping just the best i also wanted to see who others thought i should target like i said ovechkin, perry, kanes, and eberle are all guys i think are worthy looks just trying to get a consensus on which two i should try to get so i can put you down for AO and Perry thanks |

Yeah, as far as strictly forwards and non-centers I'd say guys to target would be:
AO Perry P Kane Parise Neal Kovalchuck D Sedin I'd be looking to move Seguin or Giroux, although Giroux I would only want the best from this list for.

its funny before the two game blow up i was right about to offer Giroux for AO and then started second guessing myself again
i am real down on AO but in this type of league i can afford to take a shot as it will be real easy for me to recover from i might try Vanek for AO though and then Giroux for either Perry or Kane that way if AO doesnt work out i dont feel as bad if i gave Vanek instead of Giroux to get him |

Yes I believe your team would benefit from moving a keeper C to wing, only problem is that your keeper C are so darn good. With those cats I would put Neal pretty high up on that list aswell. But Giroux seems like a steep price to pay for him.
