I was offered Getzlaf, Kunitz & Carle for Perry.

Should I accept? Does Getz have the same value as Perry just without the penalty minutes?

This deal seems fair & it would upgrade your defense now that Enstrom is out for a couple of weeks with Carle giving you PPP on a great offensive team. Also your depth would be upgraded with Kunitz as he is playing on a line with Crosby and currently in the top 10 in scoring. He will also help your +/-. As for Getzlaf, he should finish the year with just about the same points as Perry but with less PIM.

i worry about the condition it leaves you on RW though

i assume that you are asking about getzlaf compared to perry as getz is the only part of the deal likely to be a keeper for you

if you have a real shot at it this year you probably have to do the deal

it gets a bit more dicey if you dont think you are a top team because of the imbalance it creates for your roster moving forward

if the other two parts arent keepers they only have value for this season

and while points between getz and perry are close the fact that wings are tougher to fill plus the pims and the gwgs give perry a clear edge here
