Anyhow, regarding Gragnani: Pretty nice offensive game (as folks know), but "liability" doesn't even begin to describe his defensive game. From a Sabres fan.

And I think ericdaoust nailed it -- Gragnani signing in Carolina never made any sense whatsoever and only served to highlight the overall lack of interest from other teams.

It's ironic that M.A. Gragnani and M.A. Bergeron have the exact same game and first name... If you want your sons to be skilled offensively but terrible on D, name them Marc-Andre.
