I was offered Colin Wilson & Halak (I own Allen in my farm team) for Backstrom (the goalie), Pacioretty and a 2nd round pick (likely end of 2nd round) in the rookie draft.

Would you make this move? I'm very high on Pacioretty and honestly don't know enough about Wilson to know if he's a worthwhile replacement at LW. His numbers are good this season, but is this a fluke or is he a talented scorer like MaxPac?

Well... your league only shows a 1G position.
You've already got Varlamov. I do know that COL has a very nice schedule as far as avoiding conflicts with other teams. So, assuming that you are in a "daily" start league, taking Halak will get you several more starts for this year.

I like Pacioretty, but I don't think he's a 65pt player like many other people do.
Patches is a 55-60pt kind of guy, my opinion.
And Backstrom is getting old & wonky. He's in his final year of his contract and his next contract could very well be a back-up type (like Tomas Vokoun).

It's basically Halak for Pacioretty.
The other pieces don't really matter.

I'd take Halak as long as this is a "daily start" league.

It is a daily start league, so yes currently I have Backstrom, Varlamov and the Washington goalies.

Is Colin Wilson comparable to Pacioretty? We have SOG which Pacioretty is much better at, but if they're similar scorers I could probably live with the decline in SOG.
