Hey everyone,

It's the last year of my 5-yr keeper league, so technically it's like a one year league.

I need to make some moves... I'm sitting 15/16, and I won this pool last year lol. Autodrafting my first 3 picks hurt big time, as well as Ward/Schneider's crap starts.

I've been mulling over moving Stamkos, trying to come up with an appropriate return.

Right now an offer has been tabled to me, Toews/Skinner/Vokoun for Stamkos.

I've also thought about Stamkos/Carlson for Rinne/Pietrangelo.


There's one guy in our league who is looking for a goalie, and looking to move Rick Nash to acquire him. My thoughts are if I do the first deal, flip Vokoun for Nash. If I can do the 2nd deal, then flip Ward for Nash+, or possibly flip Schneider to the guy who owns Luongo for Ovechkin.

Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks guys. Rep for help!!!

Toews-Skinner-Vokoun sounds like a pretty solid return for Stamkos. Skinner has looked great this year and Toews has been steady.

It kind of depends on your goaltending situation. Rinne is on fire right now, getting him and Pietreangelo could be a steal, but I still prefer the first deal on paper.

I don't think Nash is going to suddenly become the 2002 Todd Bertuzzi and put up a bunch of points, but if you could get him for Vokoun that would obviously be a solid add.

How do you feel about Kesler/Backes/J Staal for Stamkos?

You can sell Stamkos and get a good return, but I am still trying to figure out how you will fit two extra guys on to your roster. When I contemplate a multi-player trade, I try to write it out with real names... I'm essentially trading the guys I'm gonna have to cut, too.

So let's look at your roster and add some names. If you get Toews, Skinner, Vokoun for Stamkos, isn't it really more like Toews, Skinner and Vokoun for Stamkos, McGinn, Leighton? ....Well, now that I look at it this way, I guess you really aren't losing much more in the deal, are you? LOL. Ok, afer looking at your roster I agree this could be a good deal for you. You do have some dead wood!
