Attempted to get some opinions in an existing thread, but figured I'd start my own thread rather than hijacking.
Looking to gamble on Kessel and/or Iginla going a tear sooner than later to help my teams scoring woes (bottom of all categories except SOG but lost Karlsson...) I'm looking to take advantage of the Kessel owner's inexperience/lack of hockey knowledge, or take advantage of the Iginla owner's lack of patience with him. Thinking of throwing out an offer of Steen + Purcell for either one. Fair? Too little? Too much? Steen's been on an absolute tear but I just picked him up a game ago (he got me 3-points against Calgary). He has C,LW eligibility which is nice, and his stats are incredibly close to Kessel (and better than Iggy's). Considered offering Steen for Kessel straight-up (the guy really doesn't know hockey), but I figure my league-mates would vote against it AND I need to free up a spot for Kesler from IR anyway. Also thought about packing Purcell with Getzlaf, but figured I'd try and entice them with Steen's hot-streak and season-stats to-date. Any advice on this is much appreciated. Team's currently in 9th and I think it's time to start making moves and hope they pay off. Thanks!
