Dynasty cap league and team in sig.
Who to keep? I have Atkinson or Halak due off the IR soon and thinking of dropping one of the two forwards. With IR flooded lately from teams, the wire is getting pretty thin all over the board. Reason for keeping my goaltending is I have not played Elliott in his past few games (we all know why) and will need to make up GP for my G going forward. Palmieri seems to have already made it and appears to be sticking, but with very limited ice time and 4th line duties. I don't see Bennett sticking on this call up, but we'll see what the days ahead show. Who would you rather keep going forward in a pts only dynasty league?

Palmieri is farther along in his development and has proven himself to have top level offensive skills. Plus, he'll apparently be sticking with the big club this season. Bennett has good skill too but the one caveat is that Pittsburgh is really looking for a shot in the arm at wing, so if he gets hot, he could stick for a while. If you could hold off for a week or so, that might be a wise idea here.

I watched the Penguins game last night against the Jets. It was Bennetts first game and to be honest I thought he looked pretty good. They had him on the third line with Kennedy and Sutter to start. As they said on the telecast, it was a smart move by putting him there and taking some of the pressure off him in his debut. No expectations to score but to play sound defensively. He eventually got to play with Malkin and Neal for a shift or two. Safe to say he wont make much of a fantasy impact this season but you can see why the Pens are high on him.
As far as your question goes, I too would go with Palmieri. As mentioned, hes further along and wont be going back to the AHL anytime soon.
