Dominating overseas translates to less than nothing here. I do not care what he did is some Euro F league. I will be sold on him when he strings together some wins against teams the 2nd and 3rd times they see him, I dont see him doing it.

By Euro F league do you mean the best league in Sweden? Where he put up numbers not seen since Lundqvist?

No one knows if he's for real, but at least he has the pedigree to back up his so-far strong play.

Hiller is still suffering from vertigo. Same as he was at the start of last season. They are keeping it quiet from the media.

Fasth DOES look like Lundqvist out there

Hop on the fast train now!!

I hope Fasth becomes a full time #1 goalie just because the fantasy team name options would be so glorious.

Dude, if you have Quick and Fasth starting on the same fantasy team, you should automatically win the league without playing a game.

Give Fasth some credit here too. Down 3-1 after a single period but now up 4-3 after the second. Anaheim was largely sleep walking in the first period. It'd be huge for him to get another win here.

Second point, he's due up to have a few weaker games now. The other teams will figure out the book on him, e.g. his weak areas, and it will be VERY important to see how he reacts. The next 2-3 weeks will likely make or break him for the next season or two going forward.

He didnt look very good in that STL game. Will be interesting to watch near term. He has a big five hole.

Yep, his stick is off the ice too much. As others have mentioned, as teams learn his weaknesses, it'll be interesting to see how he adjusts. It's WAY too early to pass a verdict on him. If Hiller misses more games, the next 2-3 weeks will tell us much about his long-term future.

I watched most of that game...he wasn't very good.

Panger commented throughout the game, and especially in the SO, how Fasth leaves his stick off the ice when in the butterfly, especially on 1 on 1 situations down low, and on breakaways and dekes.
