and with this pick the future of the teams tending woes have been patched up. after a looong stretch of mediocre goaltending, (leclaire, lalime, emery and so on) finding this gem is exactly what we needed. add to that the Karlsson, Silfverberg, and Zbad picks i dont see how anybody can deny that Murray and co. know what they are doin.

Exactly. All the guys you mention were in Rounds 1 or 2, but we've got some talent from the late rounds as well.

Murray has set this team up for the next decade.

Hey guys, have you heard any updates on Spezza? When is he expected to return?

I have an opportunity to use my 1st Waiver priority to grab him .. but of course he'd only be useful if he can play a few weeks for me!

Tough break for Peter Regin. He looked set to be a legit top-6 contributor before the injury 2 years ago. I'm really rooting for him to have a great year and solidify a spot for himself. Hopefully this isn't a nagging injury that plagues him all season.

Can someone give me some insight into Gonchar?

How has he looked? Any reason to think he won't be manning the top unit the rest of the way? I am looking at adding a vet D to keep in the race, and he looks to be a good semi-buy low target.
