Will be interesting to see what happens when Spurgeon returns. If Brodin plays well and has chemistry with Suter than I could see the pairings sticking as:

Suter - Brodin
Stoner - Gilbert
Scandella - Spurgeon

Pressbox: Falk, Prosser
Thanks, I love D that have poise and patience with the puck.

Coyle is being recalled and will most likely make his NHL debut Monday against the 'Yotes.

From Russo's tweets about their practice today it looks like the lines will be:

Parise - Koivu - Heatley
PMB - Cullen - Coyle
Mitchell - Brodz - Clutter
Powe - Konopka - Seto/Granlund

Granlund will most likely be the healthy scratch. Of course this is only if Cullen is good to go which it sounds like he will be.

With Seto being sent to the fourth line, looks like he is sending him a message. Plus Russo has said lately that Seto is on the trading block as well.

Oh my, how the hyped have fallen. And to think he was often mentioned for the Calder before the season started. Still early in the year, I know, but he certainly isn't the scoring dynamo many thought he would be.

Well now it is up in the air who the scratch might be but a message was sent, and he definitely won't be centering the second line tomorrow.

So things have changed up a bit from yesterday's practice to today's. Looks like Powe will be the healthy scratch, an innocent victim to the subpar play of Seto and Granlund. Although, Coyle will get the rewards of playing in his first NHL game mainly because of the size and wall play that he will bring to the lineup because he hasn't really been setting the AHL on fire either.

Lineups looking like:

Parise - Koivu - Heatley
PMB - Cullen - Coyle
Mitchell - Brodz - Clutter
Granlund - Konopka - Seto

I am sure the lines will change throughout the night as well depending on how certain players respond to the shakeup.

And just like that it seems Powe has been traded for Mike Rupp.

Edit: Nick Palmieri is in the deal as well.

Yeo is mixing up lines again for today's practice.

Of note:

Coyle moves up to top line with Parise and Koivu.

Heatley to second line with PMB and Cullen.

Seto and Granlund rotating on third line with Brodz and Clutter.

Edit: Article by Russo on the shakeup.

I have the oppotunity to pick Granlund off waivers in the Semi-Keeper listed in my signature. He was drafted late so hes got decent value, but he is blowing it this year.

Thinking about it...hoping he turns it around. Any word on more line changes?
