Hawks got lucky on that awful head-shot call against Desjardins! Sharks should've had a power play but instead the Hawks score 4-on-4. Epic steal by Toews to feed Kane for the game-winner though.

Can someone give me some quick insight into Andrew Shaw?

Need to grab a fwd off the wire and am wondering if he may be the guy. Points only league so I need G's and A's!

Is he gonna stick on the top PP unit? That may be enough for me to grab him.

Hawks win ANOTHER! 11-0-3... how is this thread so quiet?!

Sharks basically got spanked. Toews got real mad at Thornton at one point, dropped the gloves, I'd give the win to Jumbo Joe but I like the fact that every once in a while, Toews will fight a guy who he has no business fighting. By once in a while, I mean once before, against Backes. Not that Thornton is a fighter by any means, but I like it that Toews was just ****in pissed and threw down.

At any rate, that was a pretty good game. A little scrappy at points, but SJ just looks uninspired. They have bursts of offensive brilliance, which Emery was able to hold off, but for a team that started 7-0... not good.

The Hawks are now 2 games away from the longest point-streak to open an NHL season. The Ducks got a point in their first 16 games in 2006-07, the Hawks are at 14 right now.

I'm gonna start doing some prospect updates or something pretty soon here. I very rarely get to see the Hawks games so I won't be able to do recaps, but I do need to get something happening in this thread. I'll figure something out haha.
