Yea it's obviously the St. Louis side. Henrique has been injured but his value is still inflated from playing with Kovy and Parise last year. Parise is gone and he won't play with Kovy, especially with the contract Zajac just signed. Larssen is nothing, Diaz can/will put up the same number of points.

I'll take the Henrique side. He's close to returning. St.L. is clearly the best player above all. How many years left, nit many? Beyond St.L, no other piece is a building block. Henrique is that for Jersey and so is Larsson from the backend. And naturally, a first rd pick is something to build on regardless of how high. If we were talking about a player considerabky younger than Marty with a similar pedigree, I would bite the bullet because there is something down the road. Henrique is no Marty, but he will help you now. His side is the Now and Later.

St. Louis is too good to not take the deal, and as old as St. Louis is, I still think he's got a lot left in the tank. The deal obviously helps you a lot if you are in win now mode, and Diaz is definitely a better option than Larsson for this year.

I offered Brown-Moulson and a first but he decided to go to the other GM with Larsson-Henrique and a first.
