I'm well aware of the issues with Jagr and Lubo and the fact winnik likely won't do much at all for rest of year. I'd likely drop or trade him.
BUT, I can't help but think GOALIES are SOOOO overrated, especially on this site. Kipper on calgary would be a headache...they are terrible. Doan will be a minus player. Hagelin...shrug, he's almost droppable. Seabrook...I like him cause he's on the hawks but besdies plus minus he doesnt come close to visnovksy. Jagr with Benn and Erickson...he's also in great shape.

Seems like you already made up your mind. This deal boils down to if you think Kipper will be your #2 goalie or not. And since you said you like Pavelec over Kipper then I dont see how you say yes to this deal.

Yeah, kipper and goalies do generally finish with higher fantasy pts...kipper was top 15 and pavelec was 40th. Jagr for Doan and Hagelin is reasonable but I'm just excited to see Jagr and that line together. not at all excited to own Doan again. Hagelin, cally is out 14 days, he'll be back to useless soon enough. Suppose you could say the same about winnik but I like winnik...he's quick. who knows, maybe he pots 15 this year, that will be more than Hagelin.

like i said giving away Jagr would be tough, but as One87 said, you lose a goalie and you'll be kickin yourself.

ive never been a Lubo fan, so thats an easy tradeable asset (for me anyway) as is Winnik. Doan gets his points, just takes awhile. Kipper isnt getting any younger either, but he is a starter.

funny how it all seems so easy for everybody but the guys involved, but if theres one thing ive learned from this site, 10 guys cant all be wrong...

haha...true. I look at it this way now. If pavelec or Lundy get injured, I jump OVER a chair or desk at the office while pushing down everything and everyone in my path to get back to my computer to add either Biron or Winterpegs Montoya. All kidding aside, I think I could trade Carlson that bum for a ok 1st string goalie if I was desperate. I'm working on Lubo and Winnik for Kipper and Seabrook. We'll see how much value he puts into Lubo. 68pts just a season ago...1 bad inbetween and now this nonsense.

It's a good trade for you- Doan and Seabrook are potential keepers (even kipper, maybe), while you're basically giving away players who are big question marks. (Jagr after this year, Vis is not the best point producing defenceman, and he's getting old, and Winnik is likely a fluke).
