Crawford has received a lot of uncertainty in his game from last year but I have to say I've watched the last 3 Black Hawk games (Small sample size) and he has been outstanding!! He exuding confidence and has clearly stepped up his game and his mobility and swiftness through the crease has reminded me of a young Giggy in his prime !!

What do other people think who have actually watched him play lately think ??

I still really like Crawford....he won't be a star or anything, but I do think he can be a solid #1 in the NHL. He got written off in a hurry after last year, but sophomore slumps happen especially with goalies. He finished the season very strong though, and although some of the softies he let in against Phoenix in the playoffs probably cost Chicago, he was actually pretty good in that series overall.

He's been really solid so far this year. He was outstanding last night in the 3-2 shootout loss to Minnesota. If it were the Crawford of last year, that game doesn't go to overtime.

Agreed. He was really impressive on the 5 on 3 and really held Chicago in the game! I've been trying to sell high on him (No One's buying it ) But I think he's going to have a great season.

Seems like something I probably would've considered a largely "lateral" move at the start of the season - which assuages my worries a little bit. I just don't wanna be knee-jerk about the whole thing.
