Default A 1st for Pavelski

I have been offered a 1st rounder for Pavelski. I'm in a limited keeper 4, and I wouldn't have room to keep him. Should I go for it - the only thing holding me back is that I am trying to go for the win this year.

Some noteable Centres on the F.A. I could replace with include: Stastny, Kadri, Turris, Weiss, Grabobski, Fisher, Brian Little, Stepan, Fisher.

I also have already traded my 1st rounder away for next year, so I would be able to recoop it. Pavelski was a 4th round pick or so this year and I don't feel like his stock can go any further.

Is pav a RW in your league also? If he is I'd consider keeping him over LAn as your 4th. I find in those limited keeper leagues diversifying the keeper positions is important.

Hard not to keep quick and rask but something to spread offense out. LAN is also young not persay needed as a keeper in those small leagues.

If you're trying to win, I wouldn't. I don't think Pavs will slow down much. obviously that whole team will slow down, but I bet he still finishes PPG. At the same time, in a 12 team league I'm not sure your team has the talent to win.

Yes he is, but he doesnt hit like Lando does. Lando carrys a lot of trade value in our league he is very popular with the other GM's.

Jeez... then go for the win.
What fun is fantasy hockey if you aren't trying to win?

If you've got a shot, go for the win?
Selling off a player for draft picks is for teams that are out of it.

We're now in H2H week 2.

Take the deal. There are very good players you can get on waivers that I personally would have pegged to have similar value to Pavelski prior to the season starting - guys like Statsny and Grabovski to name a couple. Now that Pavelski is shredding it's your time to cash in. Sell HIGH. Next year you get a top end talent in the limited keep 4.

This is a must deal IMO.
