Million dollar question right there. The problem I have with that is I don't think the Caps are suited to play that system anymore not how they are currently constructed. When they were that team they had Fleishmann, Kozlov, Federov, Semin and others as secondary scoring now they have Wolski and Riberio and nothing behind that. When they got bounced from the playoffs by Montreal a few years back and it caused the whole change in team philosophy and made BB think that he couldn't win with all out offense and they tried to become more defensive GMGM went out and got more grit and grinders ie Chimera and Ward and players of that ilk. GMGM has no clue how to build the team with an identity it shows by them going from Offensive to Defensive to trying back to Offensive. The team is lost as a group and it shows on the ice. I think for them to return to the early Ovechkin days they would need to get pieces that would allow that system starting with a winger better than Brouwer, Wolski, Hendricks playing with Ovechkin. Or at the very least something to put on the 2nd line behind Ovechkin to make teams think that we have a secondary threat
