As I said Yandle came within 2 crossbars of having 2 goals in the last game. So don't overreact, we're only a few games into the season.

i agree that yandle is going to get his numbers regardless. he is far too talented to not get points. however, what is undeniable is that the prime offenisve minutes in phoenix have gone from yandle's plate to OEL's plate. it happened last season and the trend has continued this year. yandle had 59 points when he was the number 1 guy for offence in the desert and 43 points when he was number 2. i don't see yandle ever getting into the high 50's again when he is playing second fiddle to OEL. with their lack of top 6 offence, i think yandle will be lucky to break 50 points given his current situation. if he moves to greener pastures, depending on the situation, he could be a constant threat for 60+ given his skill.

OEL is made to be a powerplay QB so its not surprising that they are tapping into his talents. So far they look to be splitting them up on the PP lines but that may change. In any event though, Yandle is going to continue to log massive mins so he'll get his pts, though perhaps not quite as much on the PP

Yandle will be traded soon. Which is a shame imo. Well I have always stated that OEL will be the Man there, I fell they should make room for the both of them.

.....ok, if he's going to be traded soon.....then where does he go? I know there have been rumours out there suggesting Boston, but with the rise of Hamilton, the Bruins don't appear to be pressed to aquire another puck mover. So where does he go?(if).....I'll start and say Philly...

Don't discount Edmonton here either. Could be a perfect storm. They're currently a stud two-way d away from taking the next step and they have tons of ammo. Contract could be an issue, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
