Always depends on your position in the standings.
If you have a cap on games played (say 96 for 2G slots, with you rostering 3 goalies)... then yes, I'd probably consider benching Kipper for this game.

If there isn't a max games played, then I usually let my goalies start because I prefer to know early on how I am doing in goalie categories.

kipper is a top goalie and should be considered a starter almost every time.

Right now I'm 5th in our nine team league, got my first two wins (Price and Varly) yesterday. And yes, game max for goalies is 96, six games used.
