My heart wasn't in the draft in October, and my team shows it. What a mess!

Should be an interesting year anyway, maybe the shortened season will work to my advantage. Though this Backstrom "neck" injury is very worrisome.

I'm really looking forward to my team.

Strategy #1:
I drafted several injured players late: Gaborik, Semin, Green, Markov, Meszaros... all hoping they'd be ready for a short-season. CHECKITY-CHECK.

Strategy #2:
I got two solid goaltenders, both Russian: Bryzgalov & Varlamov.
Both were very solid in the KHL and should be conditioned to play a lot in the NHL right away!

This works out to only 41 games per position slot.
Seems incorrect for a 48 game season.
48? 50? 60?
With weekly roster sets, it could be more than 48 if we go with a heavier-weekly-schedule for some players?

Can we fix this?

I think this will be fixed automatically by Yahoo as 41 is the adjusted max games based on the cancelled schedule. Once they confirm I figure it'll go up to 48/50. They even have a note on the main page saying they'll adjust it.

There shouldn't be any max GP restrictions (unless there were rule changes for this season I am unaware of) as it's weekly league so probably just an oversight to leave the max GP setting on.

I assumed that since it was lowered Yahoo! had set-it that way.

Ah I forgot that. The commishes will to remove that option then. It's set in the Adams as well, so I figure all of them need changing.

How many of us put a claim in on Conacher? And what was the next highest bid? I know 26 is high, but I've never done a FAAB pool, and in a shortened season how am I ever going to use $100 going $3 at a time?
