Well I'm fairly certain that is exactly what you're going to get with him.

For me the top 5 are:
Huberdeau
Galchenyuk
Granlund
Schultz
Baertschi

I'm a huge Flames fan.. is the drop from Granlund to Baertschi really that big? I'd rather take Sven if it isn't.

I'd take Tarasenko with the second pick, I feel like he's the most ready player of the group, and will be able to contribute this season better than anyone else on the list. He might not have the highest end potential of the group, but I feel like he's ready, safe, and his high end isn't far off from anyone else available.

My rankings:
1. Tarasenko
2. Huberdeau
3. Galchenyuk
4. Granlund
5. Baertschi
6. Schultz
7. Strome
8. Grigorenko

As I fully expected know one else even considers Strome that's cool I understand. Just to help you out I would have Grandlund then Huberdeau next....

I pretty much agree with this...

Hubs will be Florida's #1 for a long time

Galchenyuk is only #2 until his offensive skillz jump above Plekanec, then Pleks moves back to the #2 role he should occupy...

Granlund has a shit load of talent... But Koivo is signed long term, play up the middle... and is seasoned... Granlund will battle him for top C for a few years....

Schultz dont expect insane offensive #s for a couple years until the oilers sharpshooters hit stride in 2-3 years... but before then he should get .3 PPG or a bit more...

Baertschi... nothing slowing him down to be on the top line... injuries do bother me....

Tarasenko I like too with the team building around him... but like the oilers, his production is limited today from what it will be in 2 years....

Grigs, Strome... they are aa step below these guys... likely 60 point NHLers consistantly with a couple PPG seasons... but i feel they are more secondary support players rather than stars....

Strome is the worst of the group. Like poster said above, I don't see him being more than a fringe 60 pt player at best for at least the next 5 years.
