I pity all those just coming back who have so many pages of the beer thread to catch up on. The Lounge was the only non-casualty in this whole mess. Though it must be said, it didn't survive without taking a few dings and dents to it's rep.

Seriously though it's good to see things getting back to normal. And lots of missing Dobberites finally back and contributing, I'm looking at you in particular Mcgoo. Now if we can get that headcase Dyz back in here.....

On a personal note I'd like to give two thumbs up to all us , most notably Dobber and staff ,
who continued to keep this place alive.I'm no socialite , by choice mostly , so this place is important to me and probably others for more than just hockey.Honestly I'm a tad selfish too and it's been kind of nice having the place less "crowded" and it gave a few of us a chance to pipe in on other topics , as well as hockey , durring the lockout period.

I had a great weekend, I work as a ski instructor for nine weeks every every year in Collingwood, teaching kids how to ski. A few of them showed great improvement and that's always nice to see.

Then I head home, turn on fan590 in the car and hear the glorious news.

I'm so glad hockey is back... though I think I may throw REP at everybody that was around during the lockout to discuss hockey. That was mighty cool of those that stayed during all of the crud.
