This has been an absolute embarrassment so far.

Down 4-0 after two periods of play, and starting the third down a man, not looking good. Binnington has been good thus far. Hopefully the Americans are tired in the third, and Canada comes to play to make it a game.

Its gonna take something special to win this game now. With our talent, it is possible, but with the way we are playing, no friggin way..... Its a bad day for Canadian hockey right now. I hope we at least make it close cause right now, its a shit show.

At the very least I hope Canada comes to play hockey in the third, to make a game of this thing.

I'll settle for a goal at this point. I was feeling extremely confident coming into this one. I'm still in shock.

USA looks really good right now. They are keeping things to the outside defensively, using their speed on the counter attack, providing a good solid forechecking and Gibson has been absolutely solid.

I would say its more the Americans making the Canadians look bad with a solid all around performance.

If you asked me before the game i would have said it would be close for 2 periods but Canada would pull away in the third. USA is peaking at the right time though and in these small tournaments playing a lot of games in a short period of time actually benefit a team than hurt them as the momentum caries from one game to the next.

This game is far from over but USA just needs to hold course for a good result.
