Wins only, probably not, though he'd likely get a ton of starts. Throw in other stats being tracked and he would be a likely Tier 2 goalie for me and wouldn't shock me if he was still one of the best in the league in terms of his overall stats at the end of a season. He's talented, even if his "between the ears" stat might struggle a bit at key times.

I'll say one thing though - If Luongo comes to toronto they re a playoff team.
His presence alone gives them a handful of wins. I can't imagine the confidence it would give the team.

He will still be outside the top 10 as the guy asked. Vancouver is a better spot for him to put up good stats. Toronto just isn't a team at that level and that will have an impact on any goaltender.

He would make the Leafs better, that I have no doubt.

I did say Brian Burke is pretty adament abt not doing these type of contracts.
