Hah! Just looked on BA, and I believe it was the Left Hand Milk Stout that I spied.

I have tried that one and I liked it. It's certainly worth taking a flier on a bottle.

I've just spent the afternoon in the backyard with the kids. I started with a margarita. Figured I would sit in the sun and spray the kids with the hose for a while. Their willingness is surprising! hahahaha I then sank a couple home brews and watched them play in the paddling pool and run around in the backyard for a while. Good times. I am wiped out considering all i did was sit there and drink! Great start to the new year. Many happy wishes across the world to you guys.

cheers,

AW

I tried the other day Little Sumpin' Ale by Lagunitas. It was good, but I was expecting more of a traditional ale, but it's very similar to their Pale Ale. Except it's got the dry hoppiness that Sierra Nevada is known for. So I had to mentally adjust to it, but I liked it. Crazy little think was 7.5 percent though.

I cannot believe how much my beer tastes have developed during the life of this thread. This thread even pushed me towards brewing my own beer. I'll be bottling up my 6th batch tomorrow night. Crazy.

I owe this thread a lot.

Cheers thread.

This thread is very near and dear to me. I've learned a lot about other beers and I always considered myself a connisseur (SP?). It's pushed me to branch out even more into craft brews and I've been quite thankful for it. I've found some great beers through the process of the journey. The crazy thing is that I've read most of the posts in the 2 thousand something posts.

I don't think there's been a regular in this thread who hasn't benefited from it. We've all been introduced to new brands and styles that we may never have found if not for the interactions. No doubt there's been others who view this thread but don't contribute that have gained from it as well.

Hooray Beer Thread!!!!!
