Bringing this thread back now that a couple guys (Upton to ATL and Napoli to BOS) have switched teams. To recap it's a 16 team, keep 10 H2H league.

At the moment I think my keepers are Napoli, Craig, Zobrist, Zimm, Gordon, BJ Upton, Bruce, Tex, Strasburg and Gallardo. I like Fowler but I'm pretty sure I can redraft him next year.

Other options are: Alexei Ramirez, Melky Cabrera, Dexter Fowler, Greg Holland, Daniel Hudson, Vinnie Pestano and Phil Hughes

Opinions?

I'd rank them as follows:

Strasburg -- No-brainer here. He's a top-flight starter.
Bruce -- Three straight seasons of 30-plus homers and entering age-26 season.
Zimmerman -- Struggles to stay healthy, but hits for avg. and power at premium position.
Teixeira -- A virtual lock for 30+ homers, 90+ runs and 100+ RBIs
Zobrist -- Expect some decline in his numbers (especially SBs), but still a great option with eligibility at 2B, SS and OF.
Gallardo -- It's all about the Ks with this guy. He's going to rack up around 200 with a 3.50 ERA and a decent number of wins.
B.J. Upton -- At least 18 homers and 31 steals in each of the past three seasons. The change of scenery might be good for him.
Craig -- Multi-position eligibility and great production. Can't ask for much more.
Gordon -- The definition of all-around contributor. Jack of all trades. Master of none.

Allen Craig, Ben Zobrist, Ryan Zimmerman, Alex Gordon, B.J. Upton, Jay Bruce, Mark Teixeira, Melky Cabrera

Stephen Strasburg, Yovani Gallardo
Also coming in late. I'd go with the guys I left in the quote above. You can sub Napoli in for one of the OF if you like. I just think you'll have a tough time redrafting any of these guys.

Just had an offer proposed to me: Machado & Austin Jackson for my BJ Upton. What do you guys think and who would be my keepers after?

I'd do that deal definetly. Then I'd keep Craig, zobrist, zimm, manny, Bruce, Austin, straus and gallarado and your last spots could go to dexter, melkey or Alex Gordon any of those 3 but I'd probably go melkey, dexter

Thanks guys, just as I was about to accept he cancelled the trade

If it makes a difference, instead of the generic OF designation, our OF is split into LF, CF, and RF so I have Gordon a little higher than Fowler and I'm not sure if I trust that Cabrera can repeat his numbers from last year.

I don't think he'll repeat his numbers from last season but I think he can still hit over .300 with a bunch of steals and in that lineup in T.O. Who knows what he can do runs and RBI wise.

Thanks, would you take Cabrera over Gordon?
