With the information known, I would reply with a simple "No thanks" and that would be it. I doubt I would counter.

However, some clarification on your league settings would be helpful though. You say 'H2H points based' - what are the point values? The fact that there are 14 skater categories to 4 goalie ones isn't as relevant since it's the total number of points per week against your opponent. This would help gauge the relative value of players vs goalies in your setup. It may not affect this offer much, but would help with future questions. You should also clarify how many you start in each position.

The way I see it, you can start 6 defencemen any given day...and you appear to only have 6 defencemen.

OEL is easily your #2 D (Based on your cats in my estimation) behind Carlson (who is a bit of a ? himself).

I agree with Blayze on this one and others who have said...OEL is worth WAY more than Pav. Gabner has yet to prove his worth in the NHL.

Just not worth it dude.

I entered his league on fantasyhockeygeek, and I was surprised with the outcome. Only 2 skaters (Malkin&Stamkos) had more FPTS than Pavelec last season in his league set-up (I couldn't enter FOL so I didn't put FOW either).


Pavelec was actually ranked 15th in goaltender in his set-up (Mostly because he's a workhorse and faces a lot of shots). So, the fact that he could land a top20 fantasy player in his set-up without giving up any of his top players (Getzlaf,RNH,STaaL) is not a bad thing at all.

If he could swing this deal by switching OEL with Fowler...

The flaw with this logic is that you're simply comparing fantasy points of two different positions over the course of a season, rather than looking at what effect Pavelec's points will have on his entire squad on a weekly basis, compared to what he is giving up/replacing. The fact that goalies are higher producers generally doesn't surprise me given the ratio of skater to goalie slots (18 to 2).

I question the validity of your arguments. You identify no scientific methodology for which to base your arguments, not the measures used to establish either a baseline for angriness, nor relevant variables for discerning varying levels of anger.
Secondly, you state that I 'probably' lack both necessary historical significance and reverence to validate such a statement. Do I, or do I not? Am I to be left here in a propetual state of uncertainty a la schrodinger's cat.

Since I don't believe in fully commandering this author's thread, I will offer another piece of advice. If you can, wait to see if Luongo gets moved to Florida. It may be a long shot, but you still don't want to get stuck with Markstrom behing Luongo as his backup.
