I sent an email to kubnation@yahoo.com, oldskoolhcky@gmail.com and the money was refunded within 24 hours...... so I'm not sure why he'd refund the money of only certain people. Again He never wrote me a message or anything, but I'm not sure how much this has spiralled out of drama. This is the only league I have ever been in with Brandon. Most of the guys trying to get ahold of Jase were using the wrong email address as they were typing oldskoolhocky@gmail.com

I hope Brandon is OK and that there is a reasonable explanation for all this.

I've been in touch with Shakedown.

These are two different people. The IPs will match because it's his friend who has been logging on at times at his house.

I will say a couple things here, and give a full post later in the day on the matter when I have more time (my baby is crazy sick, so I'm only getting two minutes here/two minutes there today):

1. Shakedown is a 5000+ post, longtime member who we either do trust or should trust
2. He plans to make good on every dollar, which at one time was as high as $1400, but now is down to nearly half that.


More to come later, but I vouch for him. He made a couple of mistakes in response to some trying situations. But let's back off on the witch hunt

Myself, I just could not believe that he would screw anybody. And I'm glad to discover that I was right.

Dobbs I agree with what you say here except the last statement. You in fact aren't right because every league that Brandon was in, TRUSTED him in good faith to protect the purse that we all paid into. So in the end despite him planning to pay everyone back he did screw us by being deceitful. I understand that people are sometimes dealt an unfair hand at the most inopportune times, but one maladjusted turn does not deserve another in response.

The fact that you would vouch for him after he used intrusted funds as his piggy bank is kind of appalling as well. Not to mention the fact that he purposefully deactivated most every mode of communication to contact him personally. I'm not sure what I would've done given his situation but I'm not the one on the block here so it really doesn't matter.

Not meaning to insert myself into business which is not mine..as I have no involvement in any of this league situation... but after morbidly following this thread - I don't think its reasonable to call it a witch hunt. I got through the pages and was thinking " holy cow, what a calm response on this."

Mostly, Dobberites were more concerned about the fella than any $$ they had lost track of - which has to be a record for an internet forum.

I think this says more about the brotherhood of the Dobber community, than anything that has reflected negatively.

Just wanted to chuck that in - hope all turns out to be copacetic.

when winners of shake's baseball league allegedly haven't been paid out two+ months after the season has ended and there has been no sort of communication letting the winners know anything... well, screwed is the only word that seems appropriate.

shake is a big boy, and he should be fighting his own battles here... yeah, the witchhunt term seems a little out of line. seems more like a bunch of people left in the dark and looking for some answers.
