Just out of curiosity (and surprised it hasn't been mentioned)...

What does your back end look like? Any solid D-men worth keeping in that last spot? I know they may not produce as much as Brown/Burrows, but if they are relatively much better than the competition, it may be worth it to keep one of them as your last keeper.

I would do Giroux & Parise. I'd probably also do Giroux & Kopitar. I would not do Giroux & Tavares. Malkin could consistently be the #1 skater in your entire league and he's still young. I'd try hard to land that kind of quality.

I would agree to do it with Parise and Giroux. I have people sniffing for Malking from me, and I don't think I'd do that, so that means you have a slight edge. But, I'd try to get a player back as well. He may have to lose someone anyway if his roster is full. I'd try kicking the tires on some stready 60 point guys that he not mind giving up.
