Dobber... I am disappointed in you man.

A list THAT extensive and you missed two of the best... Entourage and Californication baby!

Good call. Never followed through with Californication (not because it wasn't good, just too many shows), but Entourage was wild.

I definitely forgot Game of Thrones on my list. Hated it the first time I watched it (promptly after reading the first and second books, tried again about 6 months ago and watched the first and second seasons straight through.

oh... and I missed "The League". Another one I didn't like the first time I tried it and loved it when I knew what to expect. On the theme of sitcoms, I also love Modern Family and 30 Rock.

I'm really into Dexter (this season is one of the best), Spartacus and True Blood. I also like Shameless (dunno if it fits in this thread) and Arrow.
I'm also planning to watch The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad sometime soon.

Lots of interesting shows being named off. Added quite a few of them to my queue. I missed one earlier, and on going back to see if anybody else had mentioned it, only found one mention....Justified. Can't believe I missed that one.

And one that I've only caught a couple of episodes of, but has possibilities, is Longmire.

I like what most of you have posted , but to rank them all would be too difficult .

I'll add Six Feet Under to the list of whats been mentioned so far .

Entourage had a "Drama" in it, but it most certainly was not a drama show.

Oh it was FULL of drama... both literally and figuratively

To be fair I wouldn't exactly classify some of the shows on that list as "drama" either.

Now you're getting into comedies, no? I'm talking drama! I enjoyed Californication the two episodes I watched. Always planned to get back to it but haven't yet

I'm glad someone mentioned "The Good Wife" as I was too ashamed to mention it. lol
Very good show though.

My top 10 from recent history:

1. Breaking Bad
2. The Sopranos
3. Dexter (although very poor last season, it has rebounded nicely)
4. Boss (sadly, it was just cancelled after season 2 but this show kicked ass)
5. Six Feet Under
6. The Walking Dead
7. Nurse Jackie
8. The Good Wife
9. House of Lies
10. Boardwalk Empire
