Yeah that's roto alright and given that you have essentially 6 stat categories and Fleury as your starter projects to rank tied 13th with Niemi given your goalie stats - you might want to consider going after an upgrade in goal.
Personally I would bundle up Fleury and a hotshot young reserve and go after Rask or Schneider. You'll pick up 8 or 9 roto points by that move.

Not true - he is very weak in goal figuring to rank in the bottom 2 or 3 in that category.

True to an extent, cdubb. But in a 6 cat roto, he can't really afford to punt the goalie cat. With a single goalie slot in weekly starts, his goaltending is going to earn him a point or two in roto (Fleury will rank in wins and then get fileted in the rest of the stats). Even getting a guy like Kipper as his numbero uno will gain him 4 or 5 roto points. Easier than fighting for a marginal one or two points in skater cats.

Ok I will work on getting a different goalie. According to Dobbers top 50 goalie list Fleury is number 4, so I'm assuming Rinne , Quick ,or Lundqvist. I can prob get Quick or Rinne easier than Lundqvist. Is Lundqvist worth the extra I will have to spend? Getting 1 of these guys will be tough without trading at least 1 of my active line up guys. Part of the reason I have so many good prospects is that a lot of the guys don't put a lot of weight on them. Most have 1, 2 maybe 3 but that's it, so a couple other guys and myself kinda raced for them. Also because of Dobber and you forum guys I got the jump on some. So as a result including a prospect in a trade offer, even a good prospect doesn't mean as much.

As an example someone commented on me having yakupov, I traded a guy that said he needed pims yakupov for J Carlson , kassian and downie. So you see they don't put a ton of weight on prospects cause I wouldn't have done that trade the other way in a million years.

Go after Rask or Schneider, more than adequate and potentially superior in your league set-up and likely much cheaper at the moment.

Theoretically if his starter gets a shutout first game he could bench his goalie rest of season and guarantee himself probably 30/56 points (14 GAA, 14 S%, 1 W, 1 SHO) in the goalie category. Not sure if minimum games, but always thought about this.

Pretty much a breach of ethics in any league I play in, cdubb. But yeah I suppose.

If there is no rule about minimum games played, then that strategy is not illegal. In H2H leagues with 2 or 3 goalie games minimum per week, many GMs strategy is to bench their goalies once they have the minimum if they've got a shutout and have a really high GAA, save %. If you reach the minimum goalie games in a roto league and are lucky to have an extremely high GAA/save % is that so different? (Note: I have never tried this as I only occasionally play roto, it only works in a league where goalie stats aren't worth as much, and I usually have one of Brodeur/Luongo who suck for the first 6 weeks). I would say the only real break in ethics is (1) collusion in a trade, or (2) intentionally losing a matchup by benching your players. It's probably more "unethical" for the GMs who predictably stop making moves or adjusting their benches halfway through the season.
