We don't have mobile broadband anymore - it's been stopped since we moved yesterday. Later that day I went to the library and that's when it went up 70MB in 10 minutes, though it stabilised and went pretty much as normal for the next 1.5-2 hours.

Since being on wireless I have no idea how much it's using. I did a full Norton scan (which found a bit and fixed, not sure what though) and Malwarebytes that didn't find anything.

At no point did I notice the performance being affected, it was only when I could see the usage.
