It's a toss up between Rask and Yakupov for me too. With the uncertainty around Luongo having another top end starter is obviously a great asset. Since you've got the Nuge I'd be happy with Yakupov as well, because they will be collaborating and getting points together for years. I think in a points only I'd go for Yakupov though.

Thats a bloody interesting group to pick from, hmmm
Yakupov Rask Huberdeau Shultz Granlund Galchenyuk Grigorenko Forsberg Tarasenko Bartschi Strome There is hardly a place you could go wrong here. The one odd ball I see here though is Rask. Top end goalies can make all the difference and I believe he can be one of those players. If you are looking for a No#1 goalie long term Rask should move to the top spot. Still you have Luo and Ward so you do seem set there/ Looking at your team Briere is your most replaceable keeper by a long shot so you should keep that in mind. Overall he is the one I would replace.

Quote:
Yakupov Granlund Bartschi Rask Galchenyuk Huberdeau Schultz Tarasenko Grigorenko Strome Forsberg Broken down into groups. Reasoning: I think the top 5 forwards are can't miss prospects. Would be really happy to have anyone of those guys. I'm assuming it's 3 points for a win and an extra 2 for a shutout. I have Rask in a points only keeper (drafted him in '08, so lots of sentimental value) and I would be torn to trade him over the players ranked above, but I think I would. Schultz over the Russians. I don't like the Russian factor, and try to stay away as much as possible. I was never a big fan of Strome, and haven't seen enough of Forsberg. Last edited by Mr. Guru; 11-25-2012 at 02:06 AM. |
