I feel like if I did that I'd just regret it when I inevitably started to watch the NHL again whenever it comes back. As much as I hate to say it I'll probably always watch when it's there...no matter what wrong it does. To stop watching the NHL would take away so much fun for me...HNIC, Fantasy hockey, etc.

Anyhoo, kudos to this guy for taking a stand...but I too wonder if he'll regret it if/when he starts watching hockey again. Unless he was doing it just for the spotlight in which case job well done.

Almost the same for me. I haven't bought it yet because it just wouldn't feel right to play console NHL games when there aren't any real NHL games going on. I've become apathetic about the whole lockout by now. Wake me up when it's over and I'll see if I care then. It's interesting how much I'm getting done in other areas of my life...
