I wouldnt trade Phaneuf straight up for any one of these guys, who else do they have?

Ovechkin, E. Staal, Kesler, Nugent- Hopkins, Moulson, Eriksson, M. Richards, Brown, shattenkirk , no goalies worth mentioning.
He's heavy at center and his only goalies are Dubnyk & Bernier

Well gosh, thanks.
But knowing that... you may also know how much I don't like Keith Yandle in this sort of set-up. The guy gets very few HITS & BkS. I'd be looking to move him for a forward upgrade. I'd just plug Yandle's spot with one of the many Hits/BkS defensemen you can grab on the waiver wire.

To win ROTO leagues, you HAVE to be able to finish in the top in the high-quantity categories: SOG/Hits/BkS.

You goalies are very solid, no improvements needed there.

With FOW being a category, you need some guys on your wings taking FOW (if you count FOW from the wing). That sort of thing likely helped Team Malkin bigtime last year by letting him rake FOW from the RW.

Yes Mr. Pengwin. I always look forward to your insight

I've tried to move Yandle and no go so far. I'm holding onto him for an offensive d bump and actually almost dropped him. Just couldn't do it. Gonna keep him for the SOG and PPP. He'll probably ride the pine for most of the season.

As noted above........ I was trying to shop for a center with dual eligibility ( Pavelski & Zetterberg). I only have Ennis & Duchene who can take faceoffs from the left side. There are actually not too many C/RW and this makes Pavelski even more valuable IMO

It's hard to trade anybody from Phoenix... but try asking the guy who owns OEL.
Sometimes a GM will up-value players from a team where they own another.

Like the OEL owner may feel that OEL's value is tied to Yandle... so he might as well own Yandle.

Bryan Little is one of the few C/RW that take a lot of faceoffs. You may try to go after him... tactfully... don't go and straight-up ask the Little GM about him though. Ask about another player... then maybe slowly work in that you have Yandle on your block, and tactfully work towards a 2-for-2 where you "include" Bryan Little+Somebody for Yandle+Somebody. Or something like that. Just an idea.

1) I already own Little and I didn't consider him as a keeper in my "keep 19". Still unsure about his potential production in a 9 team league. But maybe I'll take one last shot at packaging yandle and keep Little instead. Other non keepers include Berglund & Jaden Schwartz. They'll be put back in the draft.

2) The OEL owner is the same guy That I've been trying to get Zetterberg or Pavelski off of. He overvalues players and is extremely hard to make a deal with. He always wants to come out way ahead on every deal. I'll think of a package involving Markstrom & Yandle, but it will be tough getting a deal done. Gotta keep trying..... there really is nothing else to do ..... stupid NHL
