I'm not gonna take it but he's still in the mix. I'd like Giroux without giving up Crosby but I don't think there's a chance I can.

When you get an offer that you have to read 3 times to make sure there's no mistake. Then you counter with even more. After that you may start to think you have enough.

In my book, Crosby health problem is fixed. Move on.

And since you are looking at getting 3 keepers for 2 and maybe only 1 if you downgrade Elias due to his age then you better start thinking about who you won't protect and now the cheese binds because Huberdeau and Granlund are likely getting chopped - now how good is the deal?

In limited keepers you need to consolidate quality in as few players as possible and Crosby is worth 1.25 times Giroux at least.

Dang, too bad he retracted this one

I'd like to see you pull off a trade involving all four of his best players for Crosby plus your worst three, I just cant see it making your keepers any better in the long run though.
