I agree. He had previously shown interest in Chara, Letang, and Byfuglien asking what I wanted for each one.

I am just asking peoples opinion on who to potentially trade out of those 3 (and Green).

I'd hold onto Green, Byfuglien, and Letang. Deal Chara. Unless you can get significantly more value from one of the other 3.

I wouldn't make the deal.

You have ZERO players roster on your wing that take faceoffs. (maybe Sharp)
You are going to lose that category consistently... but it's only 1/12 offensive categories and I wouldn't even sweat that.

It's H2H... so punt FOW... forget about it. Don't let it concern you.
You have a good squad that should take over half of the categories weekly.

I realize you are talking about dealing from your strengths... but the real question is this:
Q: Does ONE #1C make your team good enough at FOW to compete?
A: No, I don't think it does.

Q: Could dealing away one of your top tier defensemen cost you a category win a few times?
A: Yes, it could.

I wouldn't deal Chara. I know how old he is... he's got a lot left in the tank.
I told people last year that he should be considered a top defensemen and some people weren't listening.
Chara finished the season as the #2 D-man in almost every multi-cat format.

In this league FOW counts only for C spots, not winger.

I do understand where you are coming from regarding punting FOW, as that was my initial plan. Looking at rosters I prolly am middle of the pack in hits as well. Hits may be ok.

Well offers of Green for Kesler and Chara for Toews got rejected. Give up on trying to trade with this guy.

Anyway, Orpik (hits/bs) and Gorges (BS) available on FA list, and am considering dropping Niedereitter for one.

I think Green will have a bounce back year as with the rest of the Washington Capitals. Letang could lead all dmen in scoring this year and Buff is a multi cat beast so you dont want to trade away any of those guys.
Agreed ^^^^^^^^^^
