I have a draft next week. Players available are mainly 2012 draftees but some other players are available, including MR. Silfverberg.
I was wondering where would you put him among the 2012 forwards: Grigorenko, Yakupov and Galchenyuk. It's points-only! Thanks guys! |

It partially depends on the scoring of your league but I disagree with the above post. He's obviously not as good as Yakky offensively but I think he's neck and neck with Grigs and Galch. Silf has proven himself at a higher level and is farther along in the development process.
The only real risk is seeing how his game will transfer to N.A. ice. My guess is that he's a legit 70 point threat with a little bit less risk.

It went Yak-Galch-Forsberg-Grigs-Silf, which I was lucky enough to bookend. I was VERY pleased to see Silfverberg available at the 5 spot.

At this point, I think because of his ability to step right into the Senators lineup when the lockout ends, he's just behind Galchenyuk.
As I've said several times here, Grigorenko still has a lot of questions surrounding him and won't be ready for a few years. Yakupov Galchenyuk Silfverberg Grigorenko
