It's not a coincidence - it's called remarketing, and a majority of websites are doing it now.

Keep an eye on the sites you visit and then be aware of the banner ads you see dotting the net afterwards, they'll be 'strangely' correlated.

You'd need to turn off your cookies to avoid this kind of advertising.

Oh, and Google knows more about you than you'd be comfortable telling anyone else.

Yeah I see it all the time too. I"ve googled "Fat Gripz" a few times and now I see an ad for them over 75% of the time I visit a dobber site.
