I've been watchin some sabers games simply because of Ennis and thought this kid was quite good. Last year 13 points in 14 games for the sabers And 8 points in 5 games in the ahl so far this season.
What's this kids ceiling. How will he do next year??

Hard to say really as he was never expected to be a top 6 player from what I've read. The chemistry with Ennis is evident, but 14 games is such a small sample size. The Adrenalin must have been rushing through the kid for a good chunk or all those games. I'm guessing he'll fall into the 40-55 pt territory with really strong peripherals. PP time is the one thing that he'll have trouble getting. I really like this kid and he plays with a ton of heart. Let's hope it continues.......

Foligno's true upside is probably around 60 points, but there's no guarantee he ever reaches that.
He's in a good situation, but don't expect too much from him. I think he's a guy that will have a really solid first half of the season and then tail off in the second half, he won't be physically ready for the grind of a full NHL season. Nice read on him by Russ Bitely here: http://prospects.dobbersports.com/in...bres&Itemid=97

Foligno is a big body. It will be interesting to see if he can carve out a PP role in front of the net.

I'm wondering about this kid, he went undrafted in our league last night. If I could swing a 2 for 1 I'd pick him up for sure!

8 pts in 5 AHL games...... definitely a late mid rd pick for leagues with hits & PIM. I've been able to pick him up in the mid rds of all my prospect drafts so far.

I would'nt expect more than 40 from the kid, he definetly shines in the hits/pim cats however and is in a far better position than his brother going forward.
If the chemistry with ennis/stafford continues that could ballon to 50-60. If your league is a multi-cat that counts hit/pim hes a must own for me, points only he's waiver wire unless the rosters are very deep. OP: If your considering picking him up in the league in your sig I don't see anyone I would drop for him. |
