Really considered McNabb and Reinhart, due to the PIM and Reinhart potentially being the best overall d-man on the list, but.....

I went with Blum and Donovan. Blum's getting written off by a lot of people because of his sophomore slump last season. It happens, especially to defensemen. He still has a very good offensive game and it's not like the Preds have forgotten about him, he'll be back in the NHL and given opportunity.

Donovan has some grit to his game as well....63 PIM in 72 games last year as an AHL rookie, over a PIM/G both years in college. I also think although Reinhart might end up being the Isles #1 d-man, Donovan could run the PP in a couple years. Offensively I give him the edge, and the Isles are going to be scoring a lot of goals in the coming seasons.
