I sent Welker away for Torrey Smith in a keeper league - did I get hosed? It was a salary cap league, and Welker would have cost $33 (approx. 20% of cap) to keep next year, vs. Smith's $15. I probably wouldn't have kept Welker at this cost.

is it a PPR league? If it's a PPR, then I prefer Welker by a good margin.
if you couldn't afford to keep him then I don't see how you could lose the deal. Unless you aren't keeping Smith, either.

Welker over Smith in any format, talk about a great deal for the guy getting Welker.
You didn't get hosed, but your opposing manager got a guaranteed stud with Welker, while you got a good young WR.
