![]() Now, in terms of your goalie suggestions - I'm extremely goalie-centered in my drafts - but in a draft with 20 teams, and being in p1 in the snake, I would not be able to get the big three Rinne, Quick or Lundqvist - if I want those I have to do a massive overpayment just based on scarcity (the owners carry very weak backups)- it's my experience that this format (1 starting goalie, minimum 3 starts/week) you need to have a clear nr.1 goaltender that can be counted on to start the absolute majority of the starts per week (not that many goalies can be counted on to start 3 or more games a week) -a 1A/1B tandem like they have going on in StLouis or Vancouver would be very problematic as it would be hard without very close micromanagement to get the minimum starts per week, any glassmen such as Lehtonen could kill a season (last year in another league I was carrying Price/Ward - and when Ward went down I lost all goalie stats for 3 weeks), I'm not doing projects of good backups for the future - last year in the same format I carried Bernier's deadweight the whole season. So who remains of clear nr.1 options: Price/Howard? I've been burnt by these suckers before so I ain't taking any of them on board this year, the same with Fleury and I'm not sure he will hold his clear 1 status against Vokoun. And nonbe of them are really an upgrade on Bryz with these stats... Rask is a question mark for me, I love him as a goalie but he carries a risk for the kind of price you have to pay - and he has been a bit injury prone as well. Smith, I don't believe he'll last on the level his play, due for a big downgrade I think this year. Brodeur, perhaps, but age is tearing on him to the extent that I'm not sure how many games he'll play. If I'd go for someone it would be Miller or Hiller but many question marks around them as well - largely due to their team composition/defense.

Agreed. Those were some weak family values displayed.
