Anyone got a fantastic IPA they can recommend?

Beer in Europe was fantastic, but IPA's definitely weren't like the North American ones, and as such, I'm craving a great IPA. I bought that Atomic Smash Bomb IPA and while good, it didn't have quite the hoppy punch I was looking for.

Red Racer, my typical go to, is no longer available in Alberta (sigh...).

Toss me a list of your favorites and I'll make a run to the liquor stores in the hopes of finding one or two of them.

Dyz, how were the Cantillons? Had you had lambics before? I've got a Cantillon gueuze and a lambic ready to go but I'm waiting for the right time to crack them.

They're an experience - that's my best way to describe them. It's crazy to think they're even considered a beer. It's a whole lot closer to a wine than a beer so if you taste one expecting a beer... you're going to be shocked and/or dissapointed.

It's definitely not my style of drink - not something I'd seek out to drink on a regular basis. But the flavour is so unique and it's so unlike anything else, I'm really glad I got to try it and may buy one or two in the future just for a radical change.

Almost posted this in another thread, but got a Unibroue assorted pack - 3x La Fin du Monde, 3x Blanche de Chambly, 3x Blonde de Chambly, and 3x (I BELIEVE) La Gaillarde.

I have to be honest, I'm pretty dissapointed in the latter two given it's Unibroue.

Every brewer has a dud or two in their lineup, and given how good Trois, La Fin, and Maudite are I can certainly overlook that.

Speaking of Trois, I finally managed to find it in the 12oz bottles rather then the huge 750ml. This make NWO veryyyyy happy....

So jealous... I've had a 750 sitting in my fridge for months and can't drink it because I need to be positive I'm not going to need to drive anywhere that night.

Wow this is the first time I noticed this thread, 142 pages! Got some catching up to do. Usually just here for hockey obviously... I'm also a homebrewer and have a lemongrass IPA with fresh homegrown hops coming up next.

Some current favorites are Deschutes Chainbreaker, Tallgrass Oasis and 8-bit, Surly Wet, and the old standard Bells Two Hearted.

Favorite occasional bottle is Dupont Avec Les bons Voeux.
